For dental cavities filling treatment amalgam alloys are extremely vital and are extensively employed all over the world. These are timely tested and extensive physico-chemical data is also available in the literature. These alloys are easy to use, cost effective and above all long lasting and have high compressive strength. DENTOFIL-FINE GRAIN is a conventional and lathe cut silver dental amalgam alloy for preparing dental filling amalgam alloy for cavity filling. This product DENTOFIL is an outcome of extensive indigenous research and development work carried out by highly qualified experts in the area of metallurgy and chemistry. The production of Dentofil Fine Grain is based on research data that was collected over a span of almost a decade. Strict quality control of initial formulating material is carried out using advanced analytical techniques.
AMALGAMATING PROPERTIES OF DENTOFIL - FINE GRAIN
- Easy mixing with mercury either manually or mechanically
- Smooth resultant paste
- Easy adaptability into cavities
- Working time of about 3 - 4 minutes
- Small grain size helps to attain early compressive strength
Dentofil is being marketed since 1988 and it has earned good
reputation among the dental community. This trust shown by the dental
professionals regarding the utility of Dentofil amalgam alloy is a great asset
for the manufacturer of Dentofil. This was only possible by providing the
consumer excellent quality product match able to amalgam alloys conforming to
ADA specification no. 1.
Being a high silver alloy it is a fast setting amalgam alloy , with the working
time of 3 - 4 minutes. The amalgam formed by Dentofil - Fine Grain is a uniform
plastic mass, and is easy to pack and carve into the cavities. Due to high
silver contents (70 %) slight Setting Expansion experienced by the amalgam after
condensation results in a good marginal adaptation.
Dentofil - Fine Grain rapidly completes mercury - alloy reaction, as its
particles are chemically etched. Due to this process, a clean particle surface
is produced that is free of any type of oxide layer. As a result mercury alloy
interface reaction is very fast and trituration performed manually is completed
just in 25 - 35 seconds.
